  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of long grain rice under cold water until clear to remove excess starch.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed rice and 2 cups chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 18 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in 2 tablespoons of butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Gradually fold in 1 cup shredded cheese while still warm until melted and creamy.
