  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup beef broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until blended.
  2. Shape into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear meatballs until golden brown (5-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk flour into drippings until smooth. Gradually add beef broth while stirring continuously.
  5. Return meatballs to skillet and simmer in gravy for about 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream until fully combined. Adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
