  • 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 3 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F/200°C) and oil the grates.
  4. Grill marinated chicken for approximately 6-8 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and char marks appear.
