  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden brown. Let cool.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese with remaining sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip until well combined.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust evenly.
  6. Layer sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  7. Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water and let cool slightly before pouring over strawberries.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
