  • 2 lbs turkey wings
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the turkey wings. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and sear turkey wings until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Add onions and garlic; cook until onions are translucent (3-4 minutes).
  4. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, thyme or rosemary, and black pepper. Pour over the wings in the skillet.
  5. Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour until wings are fork-tender.
  6. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes with plenty of sauce.
