  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp white or red miso paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels for a crispy exterior.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
  3. Place the fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the glaze over them. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to broil at 400°F (200°C).
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon on it. Drizzle any remaining glaze on top.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and slightly charred.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
