  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 large lemons, juiced and zested
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and lemon zest. Pour half over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle oregano on top of the chicken and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Drizzle remaining sauce over the chicken before serving. Let rest for 5 minutes.
