  • 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil preferred)
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef or sausage. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning until combined.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles over the meat mixture in a crisscross pattern.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles followed by half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  6. Pour 1 cup of water into the pot, seal the lid, and set to high pressure cooking for 25 minutes.
  7. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before manually releasing any remaining steam.
  8. Let it sit for a few minutes before slicing and garnish with fresh herbs.
