  • 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by washing and patting dry, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet and pour the honey garlic mixture over it.
  5. Cook on medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove chicken and increase heat to medium-high to thicken the sauce for about 2-3 minutes.
