  2. Wash grapes: Rinse under cool water and remove stems.
  3. Cook grapes: In a large pot, combine grapes with a splash of water over medium heat until soft (about 10 minutes). Stir occasionally.
  4. Strain mixture: Use a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate juice from skins and seeds.
  5. Add lemon juice and pectin: Stir in lemon juice and pectin into strained juice; bring to a rolling boil while stirring constantly.
  6. Add sugar: Quickly add sugar while stirring until fully dissolved. Return to boil for 1 minute.
  7. Jar it up: Pour hot grape jelly into sterilized jars, leaving headspace at the top. Seal tightly while still hot.
