  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Sauté Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Brown Beef: Push onions aside; add cubed beef chuck. Season with salt and pepper, browning all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic & Thyme: Stir in minced garlic and dried thyme, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Simmer: Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a gentle simmer for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Cook Noodles: Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  6. Combine & Serve: Mix cooked noodles into the beef mixture until well combined. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually. Serve garnished with parsley if desired.
