  • 3 lbs chuck roast
  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 oz provolone cheese
  • 4 cups beef broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 large sweet onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Sear the beef roast in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  2. Remove the roast and sauté sliced onions in the same skillet until golden.
  3. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stirring well.
  4. Transfer everything to a slow cooker or Dutch oven and cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
  5. Shred the beef with two forks and assemble onto slider buns topped with provolone cheese.
