  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Oreos or other chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed Oreos gently.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them evenly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set; centers should look slightly underbaked.
  9. Allow to cool on the tray before transferring to wire racks.
