  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp chili seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • Jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to package instructions for frozen fries. Spread fries on a lined baking sheet and bake until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat, add chili seasoning, and cook according to package instructions.
  3. Layer cooked fries on a serving platter and pour the chili generously over them.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the chili-covered fries and return to the oven until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes).
  5. Remove from the oven, garnish with sour cream, chopped green onions, and jalapeños if desired. Serve hot.
