  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (shredded)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 4 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheets to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 4×4 inch squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on each square. Fold corners to create pockets and seal with a fork.
  5. Whisk egg with a splash of water; brush over each pillow for a golden finish.
  6. Bake on parchment-lined sheet for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
