  • 1/2 cup streusel topping (1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tbsp butter)

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and eggs until well blended.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
  5. Carefully add blackberries and spoon the batter into muffin cups until two-thirds full.
  6. If using, sprinkle streusel topping over each muffin.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
