  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Mix in melted butter and sugar until well combined; then add eggs one at a time, blending until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients without overmixing.
