  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for drizzling
  • Cinnamon sugar mixture (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix into dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in diced apples.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and drizzling with powdered sugar.
