  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (about 2-3 minutes). Reserve some pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  3. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until softened (3-5 minutes).
  4. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with reserved pasta water as needed to combine.
  5. Stir in chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving hot.
