  • 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (any color), chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Optional: 1 cup cooked chicken or tofu

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and chop all vegetables: thinly slice cabbage, chop bell peppers, and julienne carrots.
  2. 2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a splash of oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir frequently for about 4-5 minutes until slightly wilted but still crunchy.
  4. 4. Stir in bell peppers and carrots; continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
  5. 5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil; mix well to combine flavors.
  6. 6. Finish by adding finely chopped green onions right before serving.
