  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup sour cream (for serving)
  • ½ cup salsa (for serving)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, bell peppers, and garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add onions, garlic, and bell peppers to the skillet; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in cumin along with salt and pepper to taste; cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Lay a tortilla flat, spoon some beef mixture into the center with cheese, then fold in sides and roll tightly.
  6. Cook assembled burritos seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
