  • 8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup toasted pine nuts (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sauté Garlic & Sun-Dried Tomatoes: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
