  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta shells for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain gently.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer until fragrant.
  4. Carefully fill each shell with the beef mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
