  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (9 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the crushed Doritos, followed by half of the beef mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Cool slightly before garnishing with green onions and serving with sour cream.
